Policemen arrested for raping two women in Kuwait

Kuwait, June 10: Two police officers have been arrested in Kuwait for raping two expatriate women from the Philippines.

The officers were arrested by officials from the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior after being informed by a Kuwaiti, reported Al Qabas daily, quoting a police source.

The Kuwaiti told the department that two Filipinas were riding with him in his car and the two police officers ordered him to pull over. The Filipinas were ordered to get into the police car, claiming they were violators of residence laws, the man said. The two women later telephoned the Kuwaiti saying the two policemen drove them to an apartment in Hawalli, ‘raped’ them and set them free.
