Cyberabad Police here today suspended a Sub-Inspector on charges of aiding a pseudo policeman.
Hayathnagar police sub inspector C Srinu was placed under suspension and further enquiry was ordered against him
by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao.
The action came following allegations that the accused maintained “unofficial relations” and “favoured” one Srinivasa
Rao, who allegedly posed as a police inspector.
Rao, alias Prashanth Reddy, was yesterday arrested by Hayathnagar police for threatening locals and demanding money
from them after posing as Madhapur Inspector, official sources said.
