State Police Headquarters spokesperson & Additional Director General (Law & Order) on Monday appealed to the Samaikya Andhra agitators not to take law into their hands by indulging in Rasta Roko, Rail Roko and other forms of agitation in the interests of peace.
In a media release here, the police spokesperson has stated that as long as the agitators’ approach is peaceful and within the precincts of law and would not infringe on individual rights of others, there will not be any objection to the law enforcing machinery. But those who violated the law and disrupt peace would be dealt with iron hand, he warned. (NSS)
