Union Home Minister, Mr Amit Shah stressed the need to prepare skilled police personnel to accelerate the process of a criminal investigation.
To achieve this objective, police universities and criminal science universities would be established soon, he said.

Mr Amit Shah was addressing on the occasion of 49th Foundation Day of Research and Development Bureau in New Delhi yesterday as the chief guest.
He also said that colleges located in various states would be affiliated to this university. A draft proposal has been prepared which will be presented to the cabinet soon.
