On Friday Vijay Kumar was arrested by the police on the charges of pelting stones in Charminar area. Earlier police had declared that Vijay Kumar was a member of Peace Committee, Maitri Committee or police informer but now it is denying it.
Mr. Naveen Kumar, Inspector of Police, Moghalpura told that he was sent home because he was injured. Police is facing serious charges of carelessness and partiality in this case.
It says that high level investigation will be made about him. DCP Mr. Babu Rao ruled out the involvement of Vijay Kumar in violence. He defended him by saying that had he been involved in violence, he would not have been injured. Police is investigating the case from all angles.
