The city police who carry out arrest of Muslim youth in a well planned manner could not do the same in case of youth belonging to majority community and the task force team reached to arrest him was forced to return empty handed.
This friendly attitude of police towards people of majority community has created unrest among minority community which not only proves police’s negligence but also reinforced the allegations made on the police for being biased.
Task force team reached community hall area of Sayeedabad where they had to arrest one Ramesh who was involved in instigating the riots. Police had identified him but when they reached to arrest him he succeeded to escape. His family members got into a tussle with police and the area became tensed and the police returned empty handed.
While in case of minority youth there are incidences when police broke doors and barged into the houses of minority community.
