Srinagar, November 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested a person alongwith 20 kilogram of poppy straw in Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
Mansoor Ahamd Wani, owner of a rice husking machine, was arrested alongwith the contraband during a raid at village Gulshanabad-Rajpora, 40 kilometres from here, a police spokesman said.
He said the the rice husking machine of Wani was also seized by the police during the operation.
