The Charminar police on Thursday registered a case against the doctor of a government hospital whose alleged negligence led to the death of a 34-year-old woman.
The deceased, Yadamma of Mahboobnagar district, was admitted to Government Maternity Hospital of Petlaburj for some operation a few days ago. She allegedly died due to the negligence of duty doctor on Wednesday.
Based on a complaint lodged by her husband Chinappa and other relatives, the Charminar police registered a case of negligence under section 304 (A) against the hospital management. Further investigations are on. (INN)
