Police register murder case as advocate succumbs to injuries

A 57-year-old advocate succumbed to the injuries which he sustained after he was beaten by five persons in Kummari Basti of Panjagutta police limits.

The victim, KGK Prasad, was allegedly beaten up on June 1 by one Narendra Yadav and his men Mahender, Naresh, Arun, Venkatesh and others. He was admitted to a private hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Sunday morning. According to police, Prasad was attacked when he was returning to his home at Sri Durga Harmony Apartment in Erra Manzil Colony. When he reached Kummari Basti, he objected to parking of vehicle on road by Narendra Yadav. This led to an argument and Narendra Yadav and his men brutally beat up the advocate.

Panjagutta Police have registered a case under 302, 147 and other relevant sections against the accused. (INN)
