Mathura, October 20: With a view to removing irregularities in recruiting UPP constables, the UP Government has set up a unique strategy to make the recruitment process transparent. The recruitment process is starting from October 24 in each district.
The process will continue for next three months. According to instructions issued by the police recruitment headquarter, a micro chip will be fitted in heel of each aspirant for recording time taken by him to complete the race while the weight and height will be measured through computerised apparatuses.
Male aspirants will have to decide a distance of 10 km within an hour while female candidates will have to run five kilometres within 35 minutes. They will have to complete the race in a circle on a ground.
Thus, physical test of 200 candidates will be conducted everyday. Thereafter, list of successful candidates will be prepared on the basis of merit. Each recruitment board comprising three sub-divisional magistrates, three deputy superintendents of police and three government doctors will supervise the process.
