Intensifying the campaign against the money lenders, police has now started talking action against the automobile financiers. Police raided the offices of these financiers in the south zone police station areas. Soon after this, many financiers closed their offices and ran away to unknown places. Automobile financiers are more dangerous than the other moneylenders. They do not maintain any record of the interest charged. Soon after receiving the news of police raids, automobile financiers of Himayathnagar, Malakunta, Hyderguda, Gosha Mahal and other arrears closed their shops. A group supporting the financiers reached the office of DCP of south zone to find out the reason for these raids. Mr. Nitish Kumar Sinha, DCP didn’t meet them. Action would be taken against the financiers arrested by the police. These financiers harass the auto rickshaw drivers and charge exorbitant rates of interest.
