DCP of South Zone Mr. V. Satyanarayana organized counseling for 90 Rowdy Sheeters of 5 police stations of Charminar Division. He warned the rowdy sheeters of Charminar, Kala Pathar, Kamatipura, Husaini Alam and Bhadurpura that if they involve in unlawful activities, stern action will be taken against them. He told them that police has started special campaign to curb anti-social activities in the city. If the miscreants do not refrain from illegal activities, action would be taken against them under PD Act and they will be sent to jail for 1 year. He told the Rowdy Sheeters that if they behave appropriately, their Rowdy Sheets would be closed. There are 10 rowdy sheeters in Charminar Division. Some Rowdy Sheeters are in jail and others are absconding.
Talking to newsmen, Mr. Satyanarayana told that all the rowdy sheeters of South Zone are being called to police stations and they are being warned. Inspector of Police have been issued instructions to take stern action if the rowdy sheeters involve them self in unlawful activities. Yesterday Husaini Alam police called Sayeed and Ali who are the sons of Hamza bin Omer, alias Zafar Pahelwan and arrested them under the charges of attacking the owner of mobile phone shop. He told that they had attack Rahman, Mobile Shop owner near Charminar Bus Station in connection with the change of their mobile phone. They had assaulted him. Police had registered a case against them. Yesterday, Inspector of Police of Husaini Alam Police Station presented them in the court.
