Bastar: Ratanpur police in Bastar district which had nabbed two men for the controversial Whatsapp video on Mahatma Gandhi is again in news but for their own offence.
The PS in-charge has been accused of posting of nude photo of a woman. And when members of the WhatsApp group make an objection over the post on Sunday night, group admin CSP Patle, erased the TI from the group and also deleted the post, he expressed regret for the post.
People and journalists demanded an FIR against the alleged officer since all are equal before law.
“Before law everyone is equal”, said senior journalist RK Devangan.
Previously, Ratanpur police arrested Manish Jaiswal, group admin and another young lad Ayush for posting unacceptable content related to Mahatma Gandhi under IPC section 153 a,b and 504 of IT Act.
It was the first case of its kind in the history of social media in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, no FIR was lodged in latter case.
