Mr. M. Mahinder Reddy, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner held Police Mela in 5 city zones to clear pending criminal cases. All the inspectors of Police and other officials attended these functions. In South Zone Police Mela was held in a marriage hall in Falaknuma; In East Zone it was held in Imperial Garden; In Central Zone in Jal Vihar, Necklace Road; In North Zone at Padmashali Bhavan in Maratpally and in East Zone at Mohammed Function Hall, Yousufguda. Mr. Reddy visited all the 5 zones and instructed the officials to clear off pending cases. He told that the East Zone has the maximum number of under trial cases. He instructed the officials of East Zone to take immediate steps to clear off pending cases. Present on this occasion were DCPs and ACPs of concerned zones and the inspectors of all the 62 Police Stations. Police Commissioner expressed his anger for not clearing of the pending cases.
