Maulana Mohammed Ghiyasuddin Rahmani, President of Jameeatul Ulema of A.P. deplored the interest shown by the police in the construction and extension activities of Bhagyalakshmi Temple at Charminar. Regretting on the lawlessness of Congress Govt. led by Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy, he said that it is adopting the attitude of narrow mindedness with the Muslims. He pointed out that after the communal riots of Sangareddy, it is being observed that the State Govt. has given a free hand to communal elements. It is adopting a lenient attitude with those who disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city. He demanded the Govt. to stop the extension work of the temple.
