Mumbai, April 18: A police inspector allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his revolver inside the suburban Borivali police station.
Shivaji Patil (43), who was on duty last night, shot himself with his revolver, police said today, adding he had left behind a suicide note citing family pressure as the reason behind killing himself.
Patil was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The suicide note stated that he was tired of the problems he was facing at home and hence was taking the drastic step, police said.
