New Delhi: A Delhi Police PCR van team foiled a robbery bid by arresting a man who, along with four others, allegedly broke into an electronics store and stole more than a 100 mobile phones in Patel Nagar.

Rahul and his accomplices broke into the shop in Prem Nagar on the night of March 24, police said.

The gang came in a stolen car and stole 3 LED TVs and 110 mobile phones after breaking the shutters of the shop, police said.

A PCR van on patrol duty spotted the gang as they attempted to make a getaway. A passerby who was trying to take out his car blocked the thieves’ way.
