City police’s vigilance is being proved fruitless in stopping the theft and robbery cases in the city. Despite arrests of thieves, new faces of thieves are emerging. The robbers have started adopted new ways to rob commuters of their belongings.
In one such incident Panjagutta division of the city police has arrested 3 young thieves besides a minor. Panjagutta police arrested Sheikh Nazeer, Syed Jabbar and Mohammed Shoeb besides a minor thief and seized jewellery worth 9 lakh 50 thousand from their possession.
Mostly lonely women become prey to their robberies. They usually use high speed motor cycle to snatch away the jewelry from the women.
