Raipur, August 16: Chhattisgarh Police has detained 25 youths here on suspicion of being Naxals.
“The youths, hailing from Naxal-hit Bastar region, were found moving in suspicious manner near the railway station late last night,” ASP Lal Umed Singh said today.
They were stopped by a police patrolling party and are being questioned, he said.
The youths told the police that they were going to another town in search of jobs, Singh said, adding that it is not yet known whether they have links with Maoists.
