Hyderabad, December 27: Two persons, including a police constable were found dead under mysterious circumstances with bullet injuries in Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh today, police said.
Unconfirmed reports said the cop allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself for the cause of separate Telangana state.
The deceased were identifed as G Venkatesh (32), a constable working under Mancherial police stations limits and his relative Prashant (28), an engineering graduate, they said.
Both the bodies were found on a bed in their house at Mancherial town with the service revolver of Venkatesh lying beside their bodies, a senior police officer said.
“As of now we cannot say whether it’s a case of suicide or not. The bodies have not yet been touched, as a dog squad is on its way from Karimnagar to assist us in the investigations.
