Police busts interstate gang, arrests accused

Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police in collaboration of AP and Chennai Police succeeded in arresting an interstate gang of thieves. Police seized goods worth Re. one crore from the gang.

Addressing a press conference, Mr. Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police of Hyderabad City told that the kingpin of the gang, K. Satish alias Satti Babu (34) is a native of Vishakapatnam. With the help of his friends, Narender Naik, P. Srinivas Reddy, Konda Reddy and Sudheer Kumar Reddy, he committed thefts in Chennai, Nellore and Banjara Hill areas.

Giving the details of the modus operandi, the Commissioner of Police told that Satish used to visit posh colonies during the day time and used to commit theft in the night. Satish used to enter the houses by through the windows.

Mr. Anjani Kumar further told that PD was imposed against Satish in 2016. During his stay in prison, Satish came in contact with Narendra Naik. After coming out of the jail, Satish and Naik started committing thefts.

Police arrested them and seized golden ornaments and other valuable articles.
