The Saifabad Police has begun investigation into the alleged suicide by General Manager of Nizam’s Sugar Company Ltd M Janaki Ram Sharma.
Sharma, 55, was found hanging to the ceiling fan at his office in Basheerbagh on Tuesday morning. Earlier, his wife Mahalakshmi lodged a complaint with the police stating that her did husband did not return home on Monday night. The police immediately swung into action and first visited his office where they found Sharma hanging to the ceiling.
According to Sub-Inspector, Naresh Kumar Sharma was a resident of Prashant Nagar, Moosarambagh and is survived by wife, two sons and one daughter. The police suspect that Sharma might have committed suicide. However, since no suicide note was found, police began investigations to ascertain the reasons that led him to the extreme step. (INN)
