Police arrested a poor Muslim woman belonging to Old City under the suspicion. She is a Household servant in Talabkatta area . She was wondering along with a bundle of sarees and cloths purchased for her daughter keeping it in a bag. She was arrested and shifted to Charminar Police Station. On receiving the news her 18 year old son Shaik Nabi and his sister reached the Police Station but they are also beaten up. The woman was also assaulted. Meanwhile the owner of shop where Shaik Nabi works approach the police station and told that he had given zakat sarees to Ms. Shahnaaz Begum and some amount . Mr. Uma Shanker Sub-Inspector of Police formed a bad precedent by misbehaving every citizen who came to police station to help Shahnaz Begum. After ascertaining that no bill or cash memo is issued for giving zakat sarees, Police allowed Ms. Shahnaz Begum to go home. ACP of Charminar told that he is ignorant of the fact. He told Siasat News that the woman may be innocent but she was taken into custody on receiving information. He told that assaulting and harassing her is inappropriate.
