Alwal police raided a brothel and arrested the couple for running the prostitution racket in Dinakar Nagar, West Venkatapuram . Police rescued four women. The rescued women are from the city and are in their twenties.
The accused couple Naveen and Rani, residents of Dinakar Nagar had taken the house on rent. According to Sub-Inspector, Ch . Gangadhar of Alwal police station, on a tip-off, a team raided the brothel at around 1 pm on Sunday.
All the women aged between 20-25 years, were sent to the rescue home in Uppal and the accused couple was taken into police custody.
Naveen confessed the crime during interrogation, that he had incurred a loss in business and formulated to made money through sex-trade. He also got a full support from his wife in this crime. The accused will be produced in court.
