Leaders of S.C’s, S.T’s , B.C’s and Muslim Front staged a protest against the attempts made by communal elements to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city. The protest was lodged with candles lit.
The leaders warned the communal forces in severe words and said that Hyderabad is a center of Ganga-Jamuna civilization. Communal element are trying to sabotage the peace of this city. Mr. Osman Shaheed, Mr. Muneeruddin Mujahid, Mr. M.Ved Kuamr, Mr. Poojari Marsing Rao, Mr. L. Yadagiri, Mr. Snaaullah Khan and others participated in the protest programme.
These leaders declared that they would campaign for maintaining peace in the city.
Dalith leaders stressed the need for Dalith-Muslim unity and said that in this, communal forces could be defeated.
The leaders of the Front expressed their regret on the attitude of the police for not giving permission to take out peace rally of S.C’s, S.T’s , B.C’s and the Muslims.
By rejecting the request for peace rally, the police have proved that it is playing in the hands of communal elements and it never wants that peace and tranquility be maintained in the city.
