(Siasat News) Hyderabad City police has filed a petition for the cancellation of bail given to Yasir and Jabir in Gujarath police attack case.
According to the details, these youths were recently exonerated by Indore Court in attempt to murder case registered by Saifabad police in 2004.
In 2004 Gujarat police team led by Narender Kumar Ameen shot dead a Muslim Youth Mr. Mujahid Saleem when he was trying to resist the arrest of Maulana Naseeruddin. Police alleged that the Muslim youths were trying to prevent the arrest of Maulana Naseeruddin. Saifabad police registered a case leveling the charges of attempt to murder. The case was later handed over to Special Investigation Team. Yasir and Jaber were arrested in 2008. But Nampally Criminal Court granted them bail. These youths came back to Hyderabad from Indore after undergoing 4 years imprisonment when they were exonerated by the court.
Police filed a petition in the court of 8th Additional Metropolitan Magistrate requesting for the cancellation of bail granted to Mr. Yasir and Jaber. The magistrate has not yet taken any decision on it. Maulana Naseeruddin expressed his anger and threatened to launch a massive agitation against the communal attitude of the police.
