Hyderabad, May 1: Point 32 revolver and a dagger were used in the assassination attempt made on Chandrayangutta MLA Mr. Akber Uddin Owaisi.
Sources told that assailants fired 4 rounds with point 32 revolver made by Indian Ordinance factory. Investigating officials seized the revolver used in the attack and sent it to forensic laboratory to obtain ballistic expert opinion.
Following the murder attack at Barkas, the detective squad of Hyderabad city police reached the spot and collected important clues.
Close team was said to have recovered a sharp dagger, used bullets, mobile phones, glasses and sleepers from the place of crime.
Police suspect that the revolver used in the attack is licensed and police is trying to find out the owner.
