Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will arrive in the city on a two-day visit to the state tomorrow. Dr Singh will arrive at the Naval Airport tomorrow at 1125 hrs and attend four functions in two days. In his first official function, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the three-day Emerging Kerala-2012 meet at the Le Meridien here and then leave for Thrissur by helicopter to attend a function at Cheruthuruthy and lay the foundation stone for the South Indian Performing Arts Museum at the Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University for Art and Culture. On September 12, he will inaugurate the Kochi Metro Rail Project at Marine Drive on Thursday at 1035 hrs and then the 50th anniversary celebrations of Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) at Fine Arts Hall at 1055 hrs.
Dr Singh will leave from the Naval Airport at 1150 hrs on September 13.
