The Bharatiya Janata Party will fight upcoming Assembly Elections in Bihar in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Anant Kumar announced on Tuesday.
The BJP will not announce the chief ministerial candidate, said the election in-charge of BJP in poll-bound Bihar.
Notably, Nitish Kumar has been declared the chief ministerial nominee of the Janata Dal-United, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress combine for the forthcoming polls.
On Monday, BJP ally Rashtriya Lok Samta Party had said its party chief and Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha should be declared the alliance’s chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Bihar polls.
Another BJP ally, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party announced last week that Paswan will not be the NDA’s chief ministerial candidate.
