Prime Minister Narendra Modi, spoke to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu as cyclone Hudhud made landfall in the State.
The Prime Minister assured Naidu of all possible assistance in relief and rescue operations.
Thanking the PM for his assurance, Naidu said he himself was going to Visakhatpanam this evening and he would keep Modi apprised of the situation. He praised the Centre for the assistance being provided to the State in this hour of crisis. He said he was in constant touch with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh over issue of cyclone relief and rescue operations. (INN)
