New Delhi, March 23: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Speaker Meira Kumar and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj today led the nation in paying floral tributes to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia on his birth centenary.
BJP Parliamentary Party Chairman L K Advani, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal were also among those who paid tributes to Lohia at his portrait in the Central Hall of Parliament House.
The portrait of the socialist leader was unveiled by then Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar in 1991.
