Hyderabad: Leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that had the Prime Minister reacted on Akhlaq Husain’s lynching, attacks would not have been made on Muslims and Dalits in the country. Showing anger on self styled cow vigilantes by Narendra Modi is nothing but shedding crocodile tears.
Speaking to media at the press conference hall in assembly, Mr. Shabbir said that Hindutva forces are disrupting peace in the country by various ways in a planned manner. Ruling BJP is backing rowdy elements. It is not befitting for the prime minister to indirectly support violence and then shedding crocodile tears to hide his failures. If PM really has sympathy he must accept his failure to stop violence and apologize on all the incidents occurred in the country in the name of Gau Raksha.
On the other hand Chief Minister of Telangana who calls himself to be the champion of Telangana neither mentioned the assurances made in the AP Reorganization Act nor sought any package from the centre, said Mr. Shabbir.
