Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Visakhapatnam tomorrow to review the situation in the aftermath of Cyclone Hudhud that has left a trail of destruction in the area.
“Will visit Visakhapatnam tomorrow and take stock of the situation,” he tweeted.
The Prime Minister said he has spoken to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and has been constantly taking updates.
The very severe cyclonic storm, which made landfall close to Visakhapatnam yesterday, claimed five lives.
Naidu’s Cabinet is expected to be in Visakhapatnam today as the Government focuses on bringing life back to normal in the districts of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram which bore the brunt of the cyclonic fury.
