Chairman and group CEO, Bharti Enterprises, Sunil Bharti Mittal on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi understands the power of technology and how it can transform the nation.
“This (Digital India) initiative can transform the Nation in the shortest possible timeframe. Who better to lead it than our PM,” Mittal said at the launch of the Digital India week.
“Mr. Modi understands the power of technology and how it can transform the nation, connect the nation in shortest timeframe,” he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Digital India Week’ at the Indira Gandhi indoor stadium in the national capital today with a view to empower the people of the country through the Digital India programme.
Digital India aims to transform the country into a digitally empowered knowledge economy.
The vision of Digital India programme also aims at inclusive growth in areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities etc. (ANI)
