New Delhi [India]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met with various international dignitaries, who are in the country for the International Solar Alliance (ISA) summit.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar took to Twitter to inform that the meetings took place on the sidelines of the ISA.
Prime Minister Modi met Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, HH Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Bin Al Nahyan, to specifically discuss trade and investment, energy and food security among various other issues of bilateral interest.

Further, focusing on strengthening the neighborhood ties, Prime Minister Modi met Sri Lankan president Maithripala Sirisena who is on his fifth visit to India being a president. The two leaders exchanged views on the developmental cooperation.

Later Prime Minister Modi met Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid. The two leaders discussed connectivity, development cooperation among other issues.
He also met Seychelles President Danny Faure to discuss cooperation on the blue economy including sustenance of marine-related livelihood. Seychelles has been a close international friend and also a maritime neighbor of India.
Later, Prime Minister Modi met President of Comoros Azali Assoumani.
During their discussion, subjects including capacity building, developmental cooperation, climate change and renewable energy were given priority. (ANI)
