Davos [Switzerland], Jan 24 (ANI): Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Secretary Ramesh Abhishek said that in his meeting with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of top global companies in Davos, ahead of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured investors of support from both central and state governments.
“PM Modi has assured investors support of the government, both at the centre and the state level for doing more and more business in India,” Abhishek said.

“Yesterday Prime Minister had an interaction with 64 CEOs from around the world. 40 of them from other countries and 24 from India. The total market capitalisation of these companies is USD 3.6 trillion dollars, so you can see that it was a very important interaction. 15 CEOs shared their thoughts and said that they are very excited by the opportunities that they find in India. Many of them have very clearly said that they are finding it is getting much easier now to do business in the country,” Abhishek added.
