PM Modi, Amit Shah ask BJP’s frontal organisations to spread awareness about govt schemes

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah on Sunday reviewed the functioning of various frontal organisations of the party and asked them to spread awareness about various schemes launched by the government.

Modi had a meeting with the office bearers of various morchas of BJP after Shah met them for the first time after his re-election as party president.

Modi, besides taking stock of various activities of these frontal organisations, sought suggestions from them about bringing in improvement in government’s schemes and for ensuring the benefits reached the targeted groups.

Shah asked these organisations to expand their activities so they touched every section of the society, party sources said.

BJP has different frontal organisations, including those for women, minorities, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, farmers and other backward classes.
