Union minister for urban development M Venkaiah Naidu today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to give special importance and recognition to Andhra Pradesh State.
Venkaiah Naidu was present at the foundation laying ceremony for Agriculture University at Lam farm in Guntur. He said the Centre’s cooperation was necessary for the development of any State. He also said construction of a bridge near Durga temple in Vijayawada would be commenced soon.
Calling upon all people to cooperate in making Andhra Pradesh as one of the top States in the country, Venkaiah Naidu assured the Cenre would extend all help to A P in developing of new capital city Amaravathi. He also strongly refuted the Opposition allegation that there was an increase of intolerance in the country. This kind of allegation was being spread by those who do not want Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India. He also said Narendra Modi would continue as Prime Minister till 2024. (NSS)
