(Siasat News)Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday condoles the loss of lives in the fire accident in the Tamil Nadu Express
Expressing shock and grief Dr. Singh Conveyed his sympathies to the kin of the passenger who died in the accident.
He asked Andhra government to coordinate with Railway Department and speed up rescue and relief measures. He also said to assistant the kin of the passenger who died in the accident.
42 passengers charred to death and 25 have been injured after a sleeper coach (S11) of the Delhi-Chennai Tamil Nadu Express caught fire near Nellore in Andhra Pradesh at around 4.45am.
Railways have announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the families of dead, Rs 1 lakh for major injuries and Rs 25,000 for minor injuries.
