Ananatapur, November 23: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will take part in the 29th convocation of the Sri Sathya Sai University (a deemed university) on November 22.
The prime minister will reach Puttaparthi airport in a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force at 10.50 am.
He will reach Sai Kulwanth hall at the Prasanthi Nilayam by road at 11.05 am and deliver his convocation address.
After spending time at the convocation till 12:00 noon, he will remain in the reserve for half an hour and would leave for Delhi from Puttaparthi airport.
Chief minister K Rosaiah would welcome the prime minister after reaching Puttaparthi airport at around 10 am on Monday in a special flight from Vijayawada.
Rosaiah would accompany the prime minister till the latter leaves for Delhi.
The chief minister would halt for the night at Puttaparthi and take part in Sathya Sai Baba’s 85th birthday celebrations from 9.30 am to 11.30 am on Tuesday morning. He will leave for Hyderabad at around noon.
Governor ESL Narasimhan will leave for Bangalore at 12.30 p.m on Sunday from where he would reach Puttaparthi at 3 pm and would halt for the night at Puttaparthi.
He will take part in the programmes to be attended by the prime minister before he leaves for Hyderabad via Bangalore at 4.00 pm. on Monday evening.
Tripura governor Dr D Y Patil will arrive at Prasanthi Nilayam in a special helicopter and would take part in Baba’s birthday celebrations the next day.
Meanwhile, according to Anantapur col lector B Janardhan Reddy, Tourism minister J Geeta Reddy would visit Puttaparthi via Bangalore on Sunday and return to Hyderabad on Tuesday night after taking part in the convocation on Monday and Baba’s birthday celebrations on Tuesday.
