PM assures KCR of full cooperation

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today said he had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend cooperation for Telangana State development which comprises all 10 backward districts.
Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi after calling on the Prime Minister, KCR said he urged Narendra Modi to give equal status to both Telangana and AP. He sought special status and package to Telangana on par with Andhra Pradesh. KCR, who is on cloud nine for getting total support and cooperation from the PM, stated that the former advised him on taking steps to develop the T State.
KCR said the PM assured him that the T State will witness development of 25 years within five year term. “I appealed to Modi to be impartial towards the 29th State and implement all the issues incorporated in AP State Reogranisation 2014 Act with regard to Telangana State. We sought adequate funds for T State for rapid growth and welfare of poor. (NSS)
