PM arrives, to address DGPs’ Conference tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today arrived at Shamshabad International Airport here and got a warm welcome by Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Cabinet colleagues and a few BJP leaders and officials.

Narendra Modi is to address the three-day DGPs’ national conference on November 26 and will address the police top-brass and Intelligence chiefs of 29 States. During his address, Modi is to focus on internal security, cyber crimes, acts of extremism and terrorism, infiltration and promotion of terror by Pakistan at borders and may touch upon Kashmir imbroglio.

After the formality of receiving bouquets and shawls from the leaders, Modi was seen interacting with Governor Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the lawns for some time. Later the Prime Minister drove straight on road to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy and is scheduled to stay at Rajasthan Bhavan tonight. Modi will address the DGPs’ national conference of three days on November 26 after participating in a yoga program with police officials.

Deputy Chief Ministers Mahamood Ali, Kadiam Srihari, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Ministers KTR, T Harish Rao, Padma Rao Goud, Indrakaran Reddy, Dr C Lakshma Reddy, MPs Jithender Reddy, BJP leaders, including State president K Lakshman, G Kishan Reddy, Baddam Balreddy, Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, DGP Anurag Sharma and officials were present.
