The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has approved the composition of the 7th Central Pay Commission. Justice Ashok Kumar Mathur, Retired Judge of the Supreme Court and Retired Chairman of Armed Forces Tribunal will be the Chairman for the commission.
Vivek Rae, Secretary, Petroleum & Natural Gas as member (Full Time) and Dr. Rathin Roy, Director, NIPFP as Member (Part Time). Meena Agarwal, OSD at Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance will be the Secretary for the 7th Central Pay Commission, according to a statement issued by the Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram. (NSS)
