Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud has created flutters in political circles by stating that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was against creation of separate Telangana State. He said that it was due to Dr Singh’s opposition that bifurcation of the State was getting delayed.
This statement of the Nizamabad MP has raised sent doubts whether separate Telangana State would be a reality in the near future. However, Rajya Sabha member and staunch advocate of Telangana, Palvai Govardhan Reddy has dismissed the claim of Madhu Yashki Goud. He said that he had clear information that very soon Telangana would be announced. He also cited reasons for it.
