Plot to kill Cong MP in Punjab?

Chandigarh, January 20: A Congress member of Lok Sabha today claimed security agencies have intercepted a phone call purportedly from Pakistan ordering a person in the state to eliminate him.

Ravneet Singh Bittu, MP from Anandpur Sahib constituency and grandson of former state Chief Minister late Beant Singh who was killed in a terror attack in 1995, said today that “intelligence agencies recently intercepted the call which was said to have been made from across the border”.

“The call was received by a person who remains unidentified. This person told the caller that he had been following me during various public functions that I addressed recently in Ropar and Anandpur Sahib”, Bittu said.
