New Delhi, August 05: Delhiites woke up with a pleasant but gloomy morning on Thursday. The weather officials are predicting rainfall later in the day.
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius which is normal for this time of the season.
An official of the India Meteorological Department said that skies will remain cloudy with one or two spells of rain in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius.
The humidity was on the higher side. It was recorded at 91 percent. The capital received a total of 4.2 mm of rainfall since Wednesday morning.
Delhi has recorded a total of 320 mm of rainfall so far this monsoon season which is two percent below average.
