Pleasant climate forecast for city

Hyderabad, August 01: The present pleasant weather conditions would continue in the city and its neighbourhood for the next 48 hours as the sky would be generally cloudy, the Met office said on Sunday.

The met office added that rain or thunder showers would occur in parts of city while the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 32 and 22 degrees celsius respectively.

The Maximum temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 34.0 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature 21.6 degree Celsius.

The Met office further said that rain or thundershowers would occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Lakshadweep and Interior Karnataka and at a few places over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

The rainfall recorded in the state was Parkal (Warangal district) and Nizamsagar (Nizamabad district) 13 CM each, Mulugu (Warangal district) 12 CM, Mahabubnagar, Hanamakonda and Siddapur (Gulbarga district) 10 CM each, Medak, Vikarabad (Ranga Reddy district), Kaikalur (Krishna district), Chincholi and Sedam (both Gulbarga district) and Kakkeri (Yadgir district) 9 CM each, Tanuku (West Godavari district), Kaleswaram (Karimnagar district) and Khammam 8 CM each and Prakasam Barrage (Krishna district), Salur (Vizianagaram district), Narayanakhed (Medak district), Tandur (Ranga Reddy district), Jangaon (Warangal district) and Karwar 7 CM each.

Mahabubabad and Narsampet (both Warangal district), Bodhan (Nizamabad district) and Kodangal (Mahabubnagar district) 6 CM each, Paleru Bridge (Krishna district), Pargi (Ranga Reddy district), Mancherial (Adilabad district), Karimnagar, Ramayampet (Medak district) and Mantralayam (Kurnool district) 5 CM each.
