(Siasat News) A delegation of TDP leaders bed by Mr. P. Mahender Reddy met the Governor of A.P. Mr. E.S.L. Narasimhan and demanded him to issue instructions to state Govt. for releasing water from Krishna for the farmers of Telangana Region. Mr. K. Dayakara Reddy, Mr. K.S. Ratnam and others were the members of the delegation.
They informed the Governor that dry crops are being grown in Krishna Delta area on the basis of the advice tendered by the Govt. Water was released twice in this area but due to non-supply of water crops are getting damaged. The TDP leaders requested him to issue orders for the release of water from the right canal of Nagarjunasagar.
