Plea to make public the report of implementation of 15 point programme of P.M

Govt.has issued instructions to all the departments of Education to provide better opportunities to the students belonging to Minorities for getting education.

The first meeting of the sub-committee was held in secretariat yesterday under the chairmanship of Mr.Dana Kishore, Secretary. Dept. of Minorities welfare. The meeting was attended by the officials of Rajiv Vidya Mission, Women and Child Welfare, School Education and Urdu Academy. This sub-committee has been constituted to take stock of the matters relating to providing better educational facilities to Minorities.

Reports were obtained from the above departments about admissions in Urdu medium schools, recruitments of Vidya volunteers, implementation of mid-day meals programme, Computer Training, supply of textbooks to Urdu Medium schools and junior colleges, shortage of Urdu books in DIET Centres ets.

Telugu Academy publishes some Urdu medium text books but due to abnormal delay in printing of these books, the students of Urdu medium are facing a lot of inconvenience. It was decided to resolved to take adequate measure for the publication of Urdu textbooks on time. It is reported that the meeting of State Level Review Committee of the implementation of Prime Minister’s 15 point programme is scheduled to be held on 24th July. Ms-Mini Mathew, Chief Secretary, Govt of A.P will preside over the meeting. The reports of the four sub-committees will be reviewed in this meeting. Recruitments of minorities in Govt. Depratments,sanction of loans to minorities from the banks and similar issues will be discussed in the proposed meeting. State level Bankers’ Committee officials will also attend this meeting. Secretary of the Department of Minorities welfare has issued instructions to various departments to be ready with the implementation reports.
Despite constituting four sub-committees and a State Level committee, there is no proper implementation of the 15 point programme of the Prime Minister of India
If the Govt. is serious about the implementation of 15 point programme of P.M. of India. It should make the report of sub-committees and the main committee public.
