Hyderabad, January 20: (Siasat News) Muslims are the organized and enlisted voters. The Govt. should consider their needs seriously and should take appropriate steps for the welfare of this community.
It was demanded that the Govt. should allocate a sum of Rs. 3000 crore for the Muslims in the budget for the year 2012-2013. Otherwise, the Muslims would be forced to think that this is a budget of upper class people. Budge allocation should be based on sect wise and appropriate money should be allocated for each group.
These opinions were expressed by Prof. Kancha Ilaiah, Director of Centre of Study for Social inclusion and inclusion policy of Maulana Azad National Urdu University in a meeting of the Muslim intellectuals and political leaders of all the parties.
He said that the budget presented in Congress budget is “Reddy Budget” and in TDP Govt. it is “Kamma Budget”. He told the Muslim that they should asserts their strength and exert pressure on the Govt. to increase the budget allocation for the Muslims.
He informed that a delegation of the Round Table conference will meet Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. to demand for allocating Rs. 3,000 crore for Muslims.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Asif Pasha, former Law Minister, Hafiz Peer Shabbeer Ahmed, MLC, Mr. S.M. Lal Jan Basha, former, M.P. , Mr. Abid Rasool Khan, Secretary Congress, Mr. Sirajuddin, Mr. Yousuf Hashmi, Mr. Mahmood Ali, Mr. Raheem Qurashi, Mr. Azheruddin, Iqbal Ahmed, K.M. Arifuddin and others.
